TEBINBULAK DEPOSIT

Tebinbulak iron ore deposit is located in Karauzyak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. According to JORC Code, estimated reserves of the deposit are over 1 billion tons with an average grade of iron - 12.6% and magnetite - 6.8%.

Triangul Metals uses modern beneficiation technology to produce a concentrate with an average iron content of 67% from this ore, making the deposit economically viable and sustainable.

Geological exploration (supplementary exploration) at the Tebinbulak deposit is currently underway. After completion, reserves are expected to increase by 500 million amounting to a total reserves of 1.5 billion tons.

Sustainable Development
The metallurgical industry has the greatest multiplier effect in the economy. One employee in metallurgy provides employment for up to seven people in related industries.
By 2025, Triangul Metals plans to create more than 7,000 new jobs, including more than 4,000 engineering positions. According to studies, the creation of an integrated metallurgical cluster will have a positive impact not only on the metallurgical industry, but also on a number of related industries, the multiplier effect of which will increase the country's GDP by 3-3.5%.
It is difficult to overestimate the importance of this project for the economic development of Uzbekistan. Demand for steel and raw materials grows every year and according to forecasts of JSC Uzmetcombinat, demand for steel imports for Uzbekistan market till 2027 will be 6-6.5 million tons.
Products of the integrated metallurgical cluster Tebinbulak and Gallaaral will replace a significant part of imported steel products, providing the Uzbek market with 1.8 million tons of metallurgical raw materials and more than 1.5 million tons of steel products a year.
